How to Earn Income Without Work with Drop Servicing

There are many ways to make money, you can even get tens of millions per month without having to "work". Maybe that's weird, because you get money without having to work. Yes you can! And it was also done without any special skills. The way to earn income without work is drop servicing, which doesn't require any experience in any kind of service, design, or coding. So this is one of the business ideas that anyone can do, especially now that we are in the “Gig Economy”.
How to Earn Income Without Work with Drop Servicing
Due to the pandemic, more and more people are looking for services online until the delivery is also online. Like; logo creation services, video editing, and others. However, if we want to enter the Gig Economy, we need skills. Well, the drop servicing concept is similar to the dropship concept. You don't have to have the item and you don't need to have the skill, but we can sell it.

And in dropship the margin or profit may be 20% or 10%. In drop servicing, the margin can be 50% or more. This is step by step, how to do drop servicing.

Step 1: Define the Idea

In the first step, find the idea, or what service to sell. Research services that can be sold at high prices, or services that are trending. For example, if you have successfully researched and found editing services, video bumper services or Youtube video intros. Focus on one of the services that have been found. And that's the first step. As simple as that, find the service with research and check whether the service can be sold expensively or not in the market.

Step 2: Find Freelancers on Marketplace

Well, the second step is a bit more technical. In short, after finding the services to be sold with drop servicing. For example, editing skills such as making animations, intro videos, bumpers, and so on. Make a down list of these services, to choose which services to sell.

In this second step, after choosing the service, then find freelancers through the marketplace. Popular marketplaces are Fiverr, Upwork, Freelancer, Sribulancer. Find these freelancers, who sell editing services. Sometimes, they sell their services, the price is already listed. For example, a 15 second Youtube intro video costs 75 Dollars. 5 minute animated video editing costs 200 Dollars. So, put together a list of good freelancers. And those who have a portfolio of more than 2 years or 3 years. After finding these freelancers from the marketplace, then chat with them, then ask them for approval to sell their services, plus permission for them to use their portfolio.

In step 1 of drop servicing, we don't have skills and we don't have a portfolio. In step 2, we borrow the skills of these freelancers and their portfolios. If they approve, it instantly means that we already have the skills and portfolios like people who have been in the market for 5 or 10 years. And that's the beauty of drop servicing.

Step 3: Create a Brand

Actually, the 3rd and 4th steps will be more challenging. The 3rd step, for example, has been completed in the 2nd step, the next step is to create a brand. In the concept of drop servicing, it's how to sell people's services, but in order to be able to sell more expensive, of course you need to have a brand. Make a name, logo, company profile, or Instagram account. For example, the name is “EditForYou”, which it was created. Then make the logo, and so on until it's finished. Try to make a brand that is presentable so people know that "EditForYou" sells anything. If it's extra, in step 3, invest in creating a website, company profile to the knick-knacks such as the invoicing process, proposals, and payment methods.

We have completed step 3, have chosen a service, have found freelancers who have good experience with their portfolios to be joined to the company profile that we created.

Step 4: Get Clients

In step 4, get a client. Give him a company profile, who has 5-10 years of experience along with his portfolio. Indirectly, we already have it because our services have represented these freelancers.

In step 4 it is more tricky. How do you get clients? If you already have a brand for drop servicing, then all you have to do is sell the services. And negotiate with the client, what the client needs, create an invoice for the client. Often people who drop servicing can sell up to 300%. As an analogy, we find freelancers who sell logo-making services for 20 dollars. We can sell to clients for 60 dollars. Amazing, earning 40 Dollars just chatting with the client, to manage his project.

These 4 steps describe drop servicing. There are 2 methods of managing clients, first; 100% establish client and second relationship; go directly to freelancers. At the selling price of the service, don't tell the freelancer, that's the first model. Or transparently take a percentage of the price given by the freelancer. But, it's better if you take care of 100% of clients, because it's just a chat, the margin you get is higher than directly shifting it to a freelancer. But, for beginners, you can charge to 20%, 30% or above.

For example, the price of a video editor from a freelancer is 75 Dollars to make a Youtube intro, you can sell it for 100 Dollars to clients. Well, actually this drop servicing can be done by everyone, but most people get stuck in the 3rd step. How do you make the branding? How do you design it? Even though, if the research has a lot of resources on Google, just search for it. But even if you can't or lazy to do it, that's fine. Another thing that can be done is to sell logo creation services. You can promote it to Facebook, Instagram or Discord Server groups. Then start tweeting there showing off the services that will be sold and showing the portfolio of the freelancer you have contacted. The difference between the selling price of the freelancer and the selling price to the client, gives a lot of profit.

I have experience in getting an application development project in a district to digitize business licenses. The budget given by the local government is 40,000 Dollars, while the price for making the application is only 20,000 Dollars. That means there is a profit for me of 20,000 Dollars, which is only with the brand and good communication with clients. If we think about it, there are many projects that we can drop servicing and the income is decent. If you start to want to try it, maybe the key is how you brand and negotiate clients, or get clients.
